You see, I have these punks. (Thanks pioneer woman)- for any that don't know what I'm talking about check out http://www.thepioneerwoman.com/ I have been reading her blog lately and stories about how she met her husband- she is quite entertaining. She likes to refer to her children as punks.
Anyway, these punks like my bed. And why wouldn't they? It is soft and cozy and it's a King size. However, when they come in my bed turns into like half- no make that a third of a twin size- at least that's the space I get!
Yes, usually at least one (Morgan) starts in bed with me. She has no problem sleeping in her own bed but on this particular evening I needed to wash her sheets. Then in the middle of the night Campbell comes in (this is regular) and then lo and behold there is Makenna standing beside my bed "mommy, I'm scared!"
Okay I've promised some heart melting moments- let me think....
Makenna was so thrilled with me packing some new puffcorns in her lunch (like cheetos only white and popcorn flavorish) that I got the cutest smile and a hug.
Campbell was watching the beginning of the movie "Matilda" and I told her "she's a magic girl" and she replied with "I'm a magic girl too"- and then "she's my best friend"
Morgan stayed home from school today with a tummyache- I took her to the scrapbook store so I could get a leg up on my current project. She worked on a page about herself and then when she was finished she whispered "mommy, I made it for you" hm.
This is a long post but I wanted to share:
Monday we had some naked soccer action in the morning on Makenna and Campbell's part. When I finally got them to get clothes on these were the choice outfits of the day:
dresses and snowboots! Don't call the fashion police!
