The girls and I spent the weekend at the pool. Make that 3 different pools. Since we have a pool pass for the town we live in we can go to any of these three pools. Each one has something different to offer. The first has an awesome kid area with small water slides, squirters, a wading pool with a little boat and fountain, the second has a splash pad and little kid area with a huge turtle to climb on, and the third is a small less crowded neighborhood pool with a diving board. The bummer part this year is that the slide manufacturer on the larger slides has instituted a height requirement for the slides- you have to be 48" tall to slide! Unfortunately Morgan falls about 1 inch short! Poor Makenna has a few more years to go- she was not pleased considering that she got to slide down all of them last year!
What a difference a year makes- Campbell is so much braver in the water now- she was walking on her hands in the little kiddie pool and almost getting her face in! I will probably start her in swimming lessons sometime this Fall.
