Random Acts of Kindness

I would like to thank Abiding Harvest United Methodist Church- a hometeam in action! As a widow I struggle to do the things that daddy should be doing. Grandma and Grandpa and other family members bought this sandbox for the girls for Christmas but I wouldn't have been able to put it together myself. When a friend at church approached me wondering if there was any household chores that needed to get done I jumped at the chance to have the sandbox put together. Last Sunday afternoon the wonderful guys and gals from our church showed up with the sandbox and a truck full of sand. On top of that they would not let me reimburse them for the sand- thank you for making our day!

What heart-warming journaling! Thank you for posting this, and I foresee many more wonderful photos of your sweet little ones in the sandbox! This is a great reminder to us to look around and see who among us needs a helping hand.
