These three girls!! I'm so overwhelmingly grateful for them. Sure, they give me grief and lots of it. There is lots of "mom, she's touching me, mom, she hit me, mom, she's not sharing with me-lots and lots of it... but, I really don't know what I would do without them!
As I was sitting at my computer yesterday morning working, all three girls came into my office one by one as they woke up to greet me and give me hugs. Campbell likes to climb on my lap and suck her thumb for a bit, then Morgan and Makenna each came in to say good morning. Wow, my heart was lifted! I thought about how so quickly they will change and grow and greeting me in the morning will no longer be a priority for them!
I am thankful, for my life as a mom, photographer and business owner, I have a warm house to live in and food to eat. I have a car to drive and clothes on my back. I have three girls who love me, and for that I am so grateful!
