Spring Beauty at the Zoo

We came across this beautiful Magnolia blooming at the zoo today- I couldn't resist taking a couple of shots of it. I didn't get very many good shots of the kids. It was hot and bright and I didn't feel like torturing them too much. Thanks for looking!

Oh my gosh, Malisa, the color and lighting in that first shot made me gasp. It reminds me of an Impressionist painting. Just gorgeous!!

The color is so pretty on these. Such beautiful blooms. I am headed to MO in a couple of days I hope I get to see some spring blooms.

Ahh! *squeal* These are GORGEOUS!!! My magnolia tree's blooms are just starting to open... I cannot WAIT till they are as bright as these!
